Re: Winternationals

When do the entries close for the winters, I thought it was last week. If they have closed then it looks like the event has turned into a large bracket meeting with a few grp 1 eliminators. As of tonight there are 5 fueler, 7 yes 7 door slammers , 9 alcohol and 14 pro stock , don't know about the bikes but there not oversubscribed, comp and superstock dont have full fields and this out of 415 posted entries

Don't take life to serious ------ its not permanent

Re: Winternationals

According to their website entries close this Friday 17 May.
Yes, TD, PRO & TF look undersubscribed at the moment but so did the Nitros even a few days before their entries closed.

Re: Winternationals

Entries will do what they always do and boom the last few days. I don't really think the early bird entries effects the big teams like the sportsman racers.
7 in top fuel is better than nitro champs.
Any word if Dixon is returning?
Will any of the wa cars come across?
Stramatis, Sheeane
Premier air team from syd?
Really looking forward to this event. hope for weather like the nitro champs

Re: Winternationals

Brays aren't on the books yet, it would be kind of odd without them, what about bringing over the Kiwi fuellers?
Any early bets on T/F winner. Bracket racer Steve Read is gonna be a hard man to beat. O'Conner might be a challenger. Matheson will strap himself on with 100mph tape (double layered, and run a 5, and maybe Steve Reed in T/A, Pro Stock is anybody's...too tuff to pick

Chris has a broken ankle. As for the bike according to Larry via Rodger nothing on the bike is straight. Total loss  R.I.P.

Re: Winternationals

As far as I am aware Chris will be running his Harley if his ankle is OK, it has gone in the 6.20's.

He is a tuff nut for sure.
