Final preparations are in full swing for the 2012 Nitro Champs and behind the scenes Sydney Dragway management has been striving to create a “show environment” that will enhance its core product, Drag Racing.
Sydney Dragway management believes taking the Nitro Champs in this direction will help build and strengthen a larger following by attracting a broader audience to the venue. The event is scheduled to include a diverse range of support attractions including kid’s rides, dodgem cars, jumping castles, face painters, clowns, arcade games, the Shannon’s car show, monster truck rides, drag boat and sprint car displays, the CUB bar, traders – and even the Army will be here performing exhibition burnouts! All this working in with the main show… ANDRA Championship Drag Racing.
The short amount of time Sydney Dragway management has had to put this together created various and considerable challenges, yet management is confident that taking this direction will deliver a new and exciting look to the Nitro Champs at Sydney Dragway – and with a six-figure advertising campaign now ramping up, we’re excited that the new-look 2012 Nitro Champs will be a great start to building this event into a must-see calendar event for years to come.
The impressive entry list – including the “best of the best” – will top off the wow factor for the Nitro Champs and this strong support from the racers is very much appreciated by Sydney Dragway.
Management has also created a Chairman’s Lounge within the top floor of the control tower to help introduce corporate Australia to the number one Drag Racing facility in Australia. Enquiries regarding the Chairman’s Lounge should be made direct to Sydney Dragway.
