We had only just brought news of Scott Keogh’s new Harley Davidson V-Rod-based Pro Stock Motorcycle in the build but the story has taken a devastating turn with a fire at Jason’s Garage in Thornton, NSW, destroying the engine the team had been preparing.

“This news was extremely devastating to me as I was in the final stages of assembly,” Keogh said. “At this stage, it has been confirmed by early investigations that the fire is a case of deliberate and malicious damage.

“The new engine that was destroyed in the fire (pictured above and below) had many hand made, proprietary parts that were designed and manufactured in house. I was planning to set a new benchmark in performance in Harley-Davidson V-Rod circles.

“My aim is to hold the title of the fastest V-Rod in the world using factory engine cases. This was always my objective and I am still determined to chase that goal.”

Keogh has launched a Gofundme page to help him get his project back on track, which you can view here.
