The quickest and fastest sedans in the world congregated at St Louis last weekend for PSCA Anarchy At The Arch – an event which lived up to its name following a very scary crash.

Terry Barkely had reached the semi-finals in Pro Modified when disaster struck the turbo powered Camaro racer.

Against Eddie Rogers in a blown Chevelle, Barkely’s Camaro drifted out of the grove before turning hard right and bicycled, barely missing Rogers before hitting the right side wall and exploding into flames. It appears the Camaro rolls over or somehow ends right side up in the middle of the fiery crash before sliding to a stop. Fortunately safety crews were quick to arrive and Barkely climbed out shaken but unhurt.

Urban Hillbilly Videos captured the horrifying moments.
