A marathon week of professional class testing has concluded at Sydney Dragway ahead of East Coast Thunder, and it has only intensified the Pro Slammer battle.

Pro Slammer certainly will be where it is at this weekend with last year’s title combatants Paul Mouhayet and John Zappia trading blows while a few other contenders lurk in the shadows.

John Zappia did out run the champ ET wise – by less than one hundredth – with a 5.64, but the sheer consistency of the Moits Racing Mustang is ominous with bracket car like performance in the 5.6 and 5.7 range.

You cannot discount the likes of Steve Ham, Scott Maclean and Sam Fenech who also delivered strong 5.7 second testing laps.

While the Pro Slammer action certainly dominated the test days, there was a mix of other pro guys making runs though nothing of real significance was run, the data gathering could be critical on what is shaping up to be a very hot weekend temperature wise.
