Victoria’s Frank Marchese’s recently put his Ford XW to the test on a hub dyno, with impressive results.

The Dandy Engines-built small block Ford put 2745hp through Tunnel Vision’s Mainline dyno, which is capable of holding anywhere up to 3000hp.

With Proline Racing’s Steve Petty on hand to provide assistance, the Street Machine Drag Challenge-winning XW was put through a series of simulated runs.

“We’re pretty happy with that, we’ve still got a bit more to go but it has been a good fun day and seeing what we can do with the simulation of a power run,” Marchese said. “We’ve still got some more boost and timing to play with. Steve Petty was ironing out problems that we had, and it was pretty cool for a small block Ford, with conventional style head and a single four-barrel style manifold, it isn’t anything fancy.”

The crew from FullBOOST were there on the day to capture the action, check it out below!
