Anthony Begley made worldwide headlines with a Nitro Funny Car fire almost 12 months ago, but it hasn’t stopped him playing in all kinds of Funny Cars still, even if they do occasionally light up.
This time it was at Perth Motorplex where his alcohol Funny Car pushed a head gasket, creating a rather bright flash across the finish line. Fortunately it was not an inferno like last time but we bet it still got his attention! And the good news was that it was on a rather quick 5.63 pass.
