Rapisarda Autosport International’s rookie campaign at Pacific Raceway in Seattle ended at the hands of Clay Millican in Round One.

Tommy Johnson led off the line with a reaction time of .070 seconds and looked headed for victory until near the 330- foot mark where the RAI car developed clutch problems and despite a pedal “TJ” shut the car down.

“It was a disappointing way to end our race day,” said Johnson. “However we leave Seattle with a bunch of positives.  The car is coming along and the chemistry within the team is great. The key to a good team is knowing what the team members are thinking before you say a word.”
