One of the stars of last year’s Australian Nationals, Brett White, will be back aboard his ‘wheels up’ Top Alcohol dragster as his team make a run at their first ANDRA Gold Christmas Tree in the Group 1 class.

A long-time Sportsman racer, White’s experience has seen his dragster go quicker and quicker at every meeting.

“We set our personal best at the X Champs last year with a 5.61-second pass.

“The team wants to go quicker though, so our goal for the event is to better that and hopefully go through a few rounds.

Brett and wife Meagan have invested in a few upgrades since the last time that the car was out at the Sydney Dragway track.

“It has new paint, so it’s looking pretty flash, thanks to Steve from Horvat Smash” smiled Brett.

“But it’s also got a new ignition system and Steve Stanic did for the wiring for us.”

White has also been spending some time helping to run the Jeff Wilson Corbett Doorslammer.

“That’s true, our priority has been Jeff Wilson’s car, so we haven’t raced the dragster since May. In fact, I’ll be crewing for Jeff at the Nationals as well as driving my car!

“And with the support of Eastern Creek Tavern, Manley Performance Products, Pitt Stop Cafe, Arnox Enterprises and Jeff Wilson Racing, it wouldn’t be possible at all. And I can’t forget my wife, Meagan!

“Lastly, my crew, what would I do without them? They are the best!”

The Australian Nationals run from October 31 to November 2 at Sydney Dragway and is the final round of the 2014 ANDRA Championship Season.
