It is with great sadness we report the passing of popular Queensland Modified Bike racer Wayne Smith.
A long time staple competitor at Willowbank Raceway aboard his Kawasaki, Wayne passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday night after competing at the QDRC Grand Final that day.
Tributes have flowed on Wayne’s Facebook profile etching what a fun loving and popular man he was.
Drag News Magazine staff pass on their deepest sympathies and condolences to Wayne’s family and many friends at this sad time.
