Perth Motorplex has welcomed two new sponsors to the fold, the first since VenuesWest took over as interim operator on 1 July 2016.

Caltex and All Flags Signs and Banners have committed to the Kwinana Beach venue with Caltex entering its first official partnership with VenuesWest.

All Flags Signs and Banners are expanding their current relationship with VenuesWest to include Perth Motorplex in a show of support for Motorsport in Western Australia.

Caltex WA B2B Sales Manager Sean Phillips said Caltex was proud to partner with Perth Motorplex for the 2016/17 drag racing season.

“Caltex Vortex premium fuels are a natural fit for high performance motorsport and we look forward to being a part of the action,” Mr Phillips said.

All Flags Signs and Banners Managing Director Peter Wagener said he hoped to see Perth Motorplex continue to entertain many motorsport fans in the vibrant and lively environment that they had come to expect from the venue.

“We are pleased to grow our partnership with VenuesWest to include the supporting of Perth Motorplex,” Mr Wagener said.

VenuesWest CEO David Etherton said the new deals were a positive sign for the long term future development of the Motorplex and the sports of speedway and drag racing.

“We have had a stellar start to the season, with big competitor numbers and thousands of fans coming along to events,” Mr Etherton said.

“VenuesWest is putting a lot of effort into securing support from the corporate sector and the commitment of Caltex and All Flags to Perth Motorplex is an encouraging sign for the long term future of Motorsport in WA.

“We will continue to seek other opportunities from sponsors so we can keep improving the Motorplex experience for both drivers and supporters.”

VenuesWest is Western Australia’s provider of premier sport and entertainment venues and its portfolio includes the world class Perth Arena and the redeveloped nib Stadium as well as Perth Stadium to be completed in 2018.

These are in addition to HBF Stadium, HBF Arena, WA Athletics Stadium, Bendat Basketball Centre, Midvale SpeedDome, Perth Motorplex, Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, WA Rugby Centre, State Netball Centre and the Western Australian Institute of Sport High Performance Service Centre.
