In Top Eliminator which featured the likes of Matt Abel's Top Doorslammer, Dwight Breffies went through the event undefeated in his big cube Ford Probe defeating Dieter Herrmann on a hole shot in the final with a 8.11 on a 7.98 to the Camaro's 7.13 on a 7.08.

Super Modified is a mix of Super Sedans and Modified cars. At the end of the night Dean Radcliffe turned on the win light in a dragster versus sedan battle over Peter Boscato, chopping the tree down to beat Boscato's better 8.96 on a 8.94 run.

Modified Bike saw Mark Tattingham's Kawasaki keep Heath Costello's Harley arrears at the striped with a 9.56 on a 9.50 to Costello's hard charging 8.47 on a 8.35.

Tim Bryan was dialled in on the money with his XW Falcon in the Super Street final with a tight 11.062 on a 11.06 proving too good for Craig McGregor in his Holden Rodeo.

One thing was for certain in Junior Dragster, the winner would be an Abel. All three competitors in the bracket bared the Abel name, and it was Michelle defeating Aidan in the final on a holeshot 8.060 (8.04 Dial In) to a 8.960 (8.95 Dial In).

Into the street classes and Justin Neck took honours in Street Car over Glenn Harris. The Holden Ute of Harris went .062 on the tree to a 13.238 on a 13.20 at stripe to beat Torana's closing 13.114 on a 13.04.

In a big Street Bike field Steve Reid (yep another one!) fired his Suzuki Hayabusa down track in the final for a 10.272 on a 10.20 banking a big holeshot to run down Mark Tattingham's Kawasaki and stopping him doubling up on his Modified Bike win.

The final round of the Hidden Valley Track Championship is on September 23rd, it will be the last chance to see drag racing in the Top End before the track goes into hiatus ahead of the yearly big wet.
