AA/Dave Armstrong went down into the history books last weekend at Sydney Dragway when he became the first 5 second nitro FED pilot in Australia.
Armstrong, native from across the ditch in New Zealand, has made vast gains recently with his nitro-breathing Donovan powered FED setting the quickest E.T for the breed at a 6.01 only a couple of weeks ago, for which you can read about here in our previous news story.
The team returned to the track with “Mean Streak” last weekend for a test and tune and created history off the trailer with a 5.993 at 234.29mph pass, then backed that up with a quicker 5.965 at 238mph.
