On the heels of a busy weekend racing at the massive Night Under Fire event at Summit Motorsports Park, Australian Pro Mod racer Steve Easton will be back on track at the 17th annual NMCA All-American Nationals in Norwalk the weekend of August 23-26.

The 35 year-old will be behind the wheel of the Patriot Pro Mod once again racing in the Rumble Wars Extreme 8 event and Easton continues to work with the team behind the scenes as well to give this amazing race car the best chance of success on the track.

“We have been incredibly busy but it has been totally worth it,” said Easton. “These long days pay off when you see the car run fast. You want everything to be right. When you are going out to win you have to have your equipment squared away. Every race team goes through this process and it is the behind the scenes blood, sweat and tears that really helps fuel this race car.”

The highlight of the Night Under Fire for Easton, in addition to the massive fireworks show, was getting the chance to talk with Parade.com writer Nancy Berk about racing in the U.S. and showing off the Patriot Pro Mod team at such an iconic event.

Easton has been working with team owner Cor Valentyn as well as a host of sponsors including Motorsports Unlimited of Brookpark, Ohio, throughout the summer to build a top notch race program. As an authorized distributor of the best racing products available, Motorsports Unlimited and business owner Ken Juszczyk have bene providing the Patriot Pro Mod team the right combination of high quality racing parts and accessories. The partnership has paid dividends as progress continues to be made throughout the season.

“There are so many people and companies working behind the scenes and at the track to make sure we continue to be competitive and get better at every race. I have to thank Cor and guys like Ken who constantly keep us moving forward. The performance on the race track is important but it is also nice to work with people that give back to their communities,” added Easton.

On Tuesday Easton displayed the gorgeous Patriot Pro Mod race car at the Mission 22 Bike Night hosted at Catch 22 Tattoo in Painesville. While the majority of the eye candy was made up of beautiful Harley-Davidson motorcycles the two wheel fans were attracted to the patriotic themed 240+ mph hot rod Easton had on display. The event was held to raise funds and awareness regarding veteran suicide.

“We got a warm welcome from the people that came out to the Mission 22 Bike Night,” said Easton. “There were a lot of kids and Harley riders that loved seeing the car and getting a quick photo. We were very grateful to be invited to this event because helping stop veteran suicide is a cause that everyone on the Patriot Pro Mod team is passionate about.”

The NMCA All-American Nationals will have Easton back at a familiar track, Summit Motorsport Park, and eager to qualify and go rounds. Tickets to the event can be purchased by visiting www.summitmotorsportspark.com or any day of the event.
