Our source from the Motorplex says there could be an entry list of 22 Top Doorslammers for the Goldenstates next weekend.
As well as the high numbers of sedans, a field of 15 Top Bikes is also expected, while Pro Stock Motorcycle is a bit smaller with seven confirmed but possibly an eighth entry to come to make for a full field.
When asked about when a 16 car field will occur at the Motorplex, the source revealed that the influx was too late to change this event, but it is a possibility for the Westernationals.
Also of interest is that the Goldenstates is likely to become a RARS round next season, offering a second opportunity for WA racers to participate in the national series at their local track.
