The official Wednesday test and tune at Perth Motorplex saw a few teams getting in some testing ahead of the 39th annual Goldenstates this weekend.

A strong head wind took the edge off some speeds. Many of this weekend’s pro teams took advantage of the track time including David Simpson, Pino Priolo, Anthony Begley, Mark Belleri, Maurice Brennan, Marty Dack, Robin Judd, Peter Kapiris, Daniel Gregorini and Ivan Skaramuca in their Top Doorslammers. Kapiris was the quickest of the bunch with a 6.07 from his Saratoga which was making its first passes at the Motorplex.

Top Bike riders included Mark Drew, Chris Porter, Mark Ryder, Wayne Barrett and Chris Matheson. An early button off 6.36 from Matheson was the quickest run, with a 4.02 to half track. A 210mph blast from Drew made him the fastest.

Pro Stock Motorcycle riders Maurice Allen, Phil Howard and Glenn Wooster got some passes in with a 7.63 from Allen leading the way.

Here are some videos from the day from Phil Blondel.

And here are some from Dave Hunter in the tower.
