All test and tunes, NSW Championship events and events like Nostalgia's, Pro Street, Jamboree etc are still ANDRA at Sydney Dragway. Only Street Meets, Nitro Champs and East Coast Nationals are IHRA at Sydney Dragway.

What are you racing and for what class are you running?

Andra has added Warwick to the 2015/16 calendar, so there is now 13 rounds so far as they say they may add more. The break down is 3 rounds in NT, 3 in SA, 6 in VIC and 1 in Qld. What the calendar does not say is what lengths the tracks are, I am sure Warwick, Portland, Mildura, Whyalla and Alice Springs are 1/8 mile? Hidden Valley is I/4 mile and I don't know what distance AIR or Calder are, 1000' maybe? With no disrespect to any track, personally I prefer I/4 mile racing. I know for some people it doesn't matter and when there is no other track around 1/8 mile is better than no racing.
The entries for Hidden Valley have not closed yet, but if you take out the Group1 T/D cars and look at the Sportsman entries there is only 4 interstate entries. I can only assume the reason for this is the distance and the cost involved in travelling. It is a huge commitment and investment for any Sportsman racer to chase a national championship. It will be interesting to see who supports which tracks and which series.

Hidden Valley was not a Summit round, Hidden Valley does not have any Summit rounds scheduled. The calendar is:

July 25-26, 2015 – Desert Nationals, Alice Springs Inland Dragway
October 17-18, 2015 – Springnationals, Adelaide International Raceway
November 14-15, 2015 – South Coast Raceway, Portland
November 28-29, 2015 – Warwick Dragway
December 4-5, 2015 – Mildura Sunset Strip
December 18-19 - Calder Park
January 16-17, 2016 – South Coast Raceway, Portland
January 23-24, 2016 – Calder Park
February 12-13, 2016 – Adelaide International Raceway
March 5-6, 2016 – TBC
March 12-13, 2016 – Steel City Raceway, Whyalla
April 9-10, 2016 – Australian Nationals / Grand Finals, Calder Park

I don't know how the WA meeting was set up, I know they had one, ask your DD, that is his job. I know the NSW one tonight is an open to all members DC meeting and minutes will be done as with any other DC meeting.

I know they live streamed the WA one so that stream is still probably available to listen too.

So are you saying that the Big 3 commissioned Gerald to write the article on their behalf and that there is no truth to it? It looks like an editorial article written on the Just Drag Racing website to me and if it is fact and delivers to truth about the subject and informs those who were not aware of the circumstances then how can it be deemed to be bickering? This is 2015, if the only way for members to find out what is going on in their sport or have and opinion is on social media then so be it. I asked on an earlier post here if anyone had been to Andra "member meetings" where and when they were, even emailed Andra to find out with no reply, Low and behold what do we have going on tonight, a member meetings in Sydney, first one, publicly anyway. I assume all members of the media will be present to hopefully inform the members of the discussions and outcome of this meeting in an unbiased manner.

I made no comment on the content on the accuracy or inaccuracy of the article, I was stating it needs full disclosure of its source to put it into perspective. It could be 100% true or 100% false, each side claims they are speaking the truth with their version of events, and if you read FB many consider it a he said she said bicker and all its doing is turning people away from the sport.

As for members meetings, I don't know if QLD has had one, but WA and VIC have had one with NSW one tonight. Saying that this is something that was imposed on ANDRA by the breakaway, it should be the breakaway that needs to hold the meetings as they instigated this to keep everyone informed of what their plans are not the other away around. You're blaming ANDRA that they need to keep members advised of someone else's plans?

And of note these are not public meetings, these are ANDRA member meetings, I assume minutes will be produced for ANDRA members to read, if your DC has not had a meeting then contact your DD.

Of course it matters who wrote it, you can make what you want of the content, but its should be declared he is writing on behalf of the Big 3, it is not an independent "shocking" investigation. It is a continuation of the he said she said argument between both parties, which I thought was agreed on to be kept from the public view for the best interest of the sport as a whole.

This bickering is damaging both sides and the sport untold amounts.

In the interest of FAIR reporting it should be (and it wasn't) stated the article was written by Gerald McDornan who also owns JDR, and is also the media representative of the "Big 3" breakaway.

Yes that one slipped through, it was Bill's first six and forgot about Grima's, it happens writing 5000 word report on deadline. Pretty sure though it was Barbagallo in his Escort that went the first 6 in testing unofficially, but it was never backed up in racing.
