The Australian National Drag Racing Association has today launched a “Volunteer Steward Drive” in the Northern Australia division. With the eminent re-opening of the Hidden Valley Drag Strip in Darwin more officials are required for the exciting sport of Drag Racing.

Hidden Valley Drag Racing Association President Jay Jukes was excited about the upcoming 2011 season.

“We’ve been very lucky over the years to have a solid, stable base of officials. Unfortunately a few have moved interstate recently so we’re getting in early in preparation for a big year of Drag Racing in the Top End” said Jukes.

“With the support of ANDRA we’re looking to expand the number of officials to accommodate the expected increase in competitors at this year’s events. The age old saying ‘many hands make light work’ rings true and with a few extra officials we can continue to bring top class racing to Hidden Valley.”

If you love your motorsport and want to get more involved this could be the right opportunity for you! See the following Flyer for more details.

Hidden Valley track officials will also be needed in a variety of roles such as scrutineering, meeting director, track crews, bracket marshals and timing operators so make sure to get in touch with Hidden Valley Drag Strip on (08) 89471320 or drop an email to mail@hiddenvalleydrags.com to express your interest.
