This weekend’s Sydney Dragway’s Track Championship Final will see the debut of Cowin Family Racing’s latest Nostalgia Funny Car and Fowler Racing’s mountain motor GXP Super Sedan.
Fowler Racing have purchased this Bickel built GXP for Super Sedan/Top Sportsman duties. Packing a whopping 796 cubes the car has run 6.80 when the team tested in Vegas a few months ago before bringing the car over. The SS/A record was recently reset to 6.93 by Greg Carter in WA with his Cobalt so that is sure to be a target for the Fowler team come Winternationals.
Graeme Cowin has recently imported the “Vegas Heat” Plymouth Satellite Nostalgia Funny Car, the car will be licensed by former Top Doorslammer racer Shane Olive. The car will be repainted and dubbed”Fast Company” in tribute to the 70’s Funny Car movie.
