All of these true champions of the sport will be present for the Pioneer and Legends Awards at Sydney Dragway on Saturday 8th August commencing at 3pm.

There will be a Swap Meet on Saturday morning in the pit area for the early risers and admission charges at the gate.
At 1.30pm, the gate charge is dropped and admission to the Pioneer-Legends is FREE after that.
This is a BYOG event, with the Pit Cafe being open from 2pm till 7.30pm for standard race track fare and tea, coffee etc.
A FREE Sausage Sizzle will commence at 6pm at the conclusion of the Awards, which start with the Legends at 3pm. This will take the form of a good ole fashioned Bench Race!
A ‘Racers Auction’ will also be held to raise much needed funds for the event.

- Boris, the ‘Scared Straight’ figure, fully autographed by the 2015 Pioneer-Legends and donated by Paul Hannell (enclosed).
- 1994 E.C.R. Poster, 21 years young.
- C.I.D. Poster with Funny Cars.
- Castlereagh Advertisement poster.
- 2 – Piston Rod clocks, signed on the night by who you would like.
- DJ Safety Jacket, fully embroidered, medium size.
- Fully autographed 2013 Pioneer-Legends poster, framed.
- Fully autographed 2014 Pioneer-Legends poster, framed.
- 2014 Pioneer-Legends signed wall clocks (4 in total).
- Motorcraft Crew Uniform donated by Jim Carter.
- Framed sequence of pictures of Angelo Palumbo’s 1978 Gasser accident, donated and authenticated by Jon Van Daal.
Plus a few of the Pioneer-Legends have vowed to supply some goodies on the night…..might be interesting.
The ANFA and all of the Pioneer-Legend recipients are looking forward to the event.250 posters have been designed by John Baremans and printed this week, so grab a poster and hunt down your favourite racer.
There is a huge Nostalgia Event the next day at the track with two nitro fuelled altereds battle in a match race with four nitro funny cars also in attendance.
