Here is something a little different to report on, the 2200 Drag Racers Association – based north of Sydney in the Central Coast to Newcastle region – held a most enjoyable Chicago Shoot Out private event at Sydney Dragway last Friday for their club members, and Drag News was there to cover it.
More than 500 racers have signed up for the largest championship drag racing event held outside of North America – the FUCHS Winternationals (June 4-7, Willowbank Raceway).
After the traditional wet season break there are plenty of teams are eager to dust off their race suits and get down to the track in what will be the first competition round of 2015 for Hidden Valley Dragway – this Saturday’s Track Championship series will kick off the venues 30th year of drag racing.
