Eight Queensland Drag Racing Champions have been found amid scorching Saturday temperatures at Willowbank Raceway, following a frenetic day of eliminations-style racing for the final round of the QDRC for 2015.

Queensland’s Greg Leahy will be in attendance along with the rest of the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car brigade for the 2015 season finale – the Aeroflow Triple Challenge event on December 12.

Aaron Hambridge is a name that needs no introduction as one of the country’s best drag racing tuners of nitro-powered dragsters, but now Hambridge is taking his talent to funny cars.

  400 Thunder will run a six round Sportsman Championship Series, with two rounds allocated in the current season at each of Australia’s premier drag racing venues: Perth Motorplex, Sydney Dragway and Willowbank Raceway.
