Darren Morgan Racing are back in Perth this weekend to compete at the Nitro Max event at the Perth Motorplex. Morgan is currently leading the 400 Thunder Series by 21 points after the second round on February 19 and 20.

The championship points chase for Top Fuel is heating up and with two championship rounds in one weekend at Perth Motorplex’s Nitro Max event this Saturday and Sunday, the 400 Thunder series scenario could be tipped on its head.

Rapisarda Autosport International Top Fuel driver Damien Harris says he needs to work on the consistency of his reaction times coming into this weekend’s Nitro Max event at Perth Motorplex.

It was a subdued APSA Pro Street show that headed to Calder Park last weekend. The relative recent return to drag racing for the venue still means it will be a while before racer numbers increase, and there was also competition from Lights Out and Powercruise in Sydney.
