The Queensland Drag Racing Championship has crowned the winners of the 2016 Willowbank track championship series following the final round on Oct 29.

It was a brutal five tracks in five days and over 1500km in between for this year’s Street Machine Drag Challenge. As usual there was a fair bit of drama on and off the track with mechanical mayhem, and unfortunate traffic accidents.

The Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car tour has made a stunning debut at Victoria’s Calder Park Raceway with 10 outlaw nitro funny cars putting on a stunning show for the crowd with side-by-side passes throughout the night.

The NHRA Toyota Nationals at Las Vegas has certainly provided some funny car thrills and spills on the weekend – it’s almost like the old days.
