After the epic final Top Doorslammer qualifier on Friday, today was all about going rounds. And rounds it was for the current ANDRA Champ John Zappia, fighting off some strong performances from the other teams.
For the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series, all the racers had two qualifying each day, giving them plenty of opportunity to improve, especially since Saturday was cooler after Friday’s heat.
The Goldenstates event name returned to Western Australia in 2017, with the 42nd running of the event seeing some awesome performances from the Top Doorslammers and plenty of tough times in the sportsman ranks too.
