Australia has crowned its first female professional drag racing champion with 33 year old Queensland woman Kelly Bettes taking out the 2017/18 400 Thunder Top Fuel Championship.
2017 400 Thunder Pro Slammer champion Mark Belleri will be leaving the Maurice Fabietti-owned ACDelco team, with the 2018 Gulf Western Oil Winternationals announced as his last race for the outfit.
