North Queensland’s Palmyra Dragway is back in action following major upgrades to the racing surface and barriers, which had been badly damaged by a cyclone and flooding.
Last week, a group of people announced a plan that would hopefully lead to a dedicated drag strip in Melbourne.
The group that proposed and received a pre-election commitment to build the Colosseum of Drag Racing for Melbourne has vowed to continue their pursuit after the Matthew Guy-led Liberal/Nationals coalition was defeated in the Victorian State Election.
