The Perth Motorplex’s 49th annual Westernationals saw no less than 10 new ANDRA national records set across its two days (February 29 – March 1).

John Zappia had the odds stacked against him coming into the 49th annual Westernationals at Perth Motorplex, with a huge rebuild needed following his excursion into the braking area sand trap at the last event.

PremiAir Hire Racing put on a great Top Fuel show as part of the Perth Motorplex’s 49th annual Westernationals at the weekend, completing six match races with Lamattina Top Fuel Racing to the delight of fans, resetting the track ET record and temporarily setting the national ANDRA 1000ft Top Fuel speed record.
