The Ford Thunderbird is classic American metal but have been scarce on drag strips in Australia. A fan of old school doorslammers, Brandon Sugars has taken to revitalising one such Thunderbird for a return to on-track duties.
The 2024 Junior Dragster Nationals at Mildura’s Atlantic Oils Sunset Strip was once again one of the largest collections of Junior Dragsters and Bike of the year all vying for what is now a prestigious title in the Junior ranks.
