The return of racing action to Swan Hill Dragway is one-step closer with works beginning to fix the uneven concrete racing surface caused by subsidence that has plagued the venue since opening.
Nitro Slam opened racing for the New Year at the Perth Motorplex quickly followed by Nitro Max, the nitro-fuelled event double in January saw popular NHRA star Tommy Johnson Jr take on the local Perth Motorplex Nitro Max stars.
Hometown hero Adam Tassone is set to make his PDRC Pro Mod debut at Dragway At The Bend on February 8/9. Behind the wheel of his potent blown 1968 Pontiac Firebird doorslammer, Tassone will have the local crowd’s support as he chases his first five-second run.
