The popular MPrint Industries Sunset Strip Junior Nationals was back at Mildura’s Sunset Strip for the 2022 edition, and it was another great weekend of racing for the future stars of the sport.
Despite some rain on Friday that disrupted the test and tune, it cleared up for the weekend, and there was plenty of racing to be had. It was the first time since 2019 that the event was able to be held, and it was awesome to see all the Junior Dragster racers finally catch up with each other once again.
“It was great to see so many new faces at the event and I think we can admit that we all made some new friends.” said event organiser Kingsley Kuchel.
“It was certainly an event we all needed to help put some fun back into racing. Although there were a few vehicles with issues most teams managed to make around 20 passes for the weekend which was fantastic to see.”
Racing was held of two days with a variety of eliminators and awards to be won.
