Calder Park is back, this is not a drill! Drag racing returned to Calder Park last Friday for the first time is several years.
COVID, and other delays out of the track promoter’s hands had seen a hiatus on drag racing at the iconic Victorian venue. Calder Park has also undergone substantial improvements, including vastly improved racing surface.
Despite rampant wet weather delaying the re-opening several more week, the track has started a restricted event schedule of Fast Fridays until it can get back to full operational capacity, which will include the return on the Australian Nationals slated for February next year.
