Coming hot on the heels of Damien Harris’ back-to-back wins in his Atlantic Oils-sponsored RAI Top Fuel Dragster, the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship is proud to announce that Atlantic Oils have joined as naming rights sponsor of Top Fuel Slam. The good news doesn’t end there though, with Atlantic Oils also taking on naming rights of the ADRC Pro Stock Championship and sponsorship of the Supercharged Outlaws category at Sydney in January.
Steve Kalamvokis, owner of Atlantic Oils, was ecstatic to announce the company’s support of the Atlantic Oils Top Fuel Slam. “Atlantic Oils has been producing high-quality, high-performance engine oils and lubricants since we started in 1997. We’re passionate supporters of motorsport in Australia, backing over a dozen teams across a variety of disciplines. We don’t make a big song and dance about what we do, because we’re in it for the racers.”
While Atlantic Oils’ long-time support of Rapisarda Autosport International’s Top Fuel endeavours is well known, their commitment to drag racing extends well beyond the top tier of the sport. Their extension of this invaluable support of individual teams to now include the entire ADRC Pro Stock Championship as well as the Supercharged Outlaws category for the upcoming Sydney event sees 100% of this additional funding in the hands of racers by significantly increasing the prize money on offer. Pro Stock competitors at the Sydney and Willowbank rounds of the ADRC will now race for a $20,000 prize pool, with Supercharged Outlaws racers vying for a share of $5,000.

Australia Day weekend is set to provide one Sydney’s biggest motorsport festival since Top Fuel last raced as Atlantic Oils Top Fuel Slam hits Sydney Dragway Jan 27-28. It’s an epic nitro party where the country’s fastest cars race over two massive days and nights, FMX stunts, pro drifters, a gleaming show ‘n’ shine, epic burnout display, and a mega fireworks spectacular.
The event forms a round of the Australian Drag Racing Championship for Top Doorslammer, Top Motorcycle, and Pro Stock, with these wild machines being joined by a host of sportsman categories who will all race in front of a huge crowd and remote viewing audience on the live and free broadcast.
