The Quarter Mile Smile is retired from racing but Bob Shepherd may have to change that moniker as Burnout Bob took to Sydney Dragway’s burnout pad last Wednesday night with doughnuts and heli’s in an attempt to fry and shred a set of steel belts.
Bob Shepherd bought the burnout car for his former crew to have some fun, but daughter Amanda and the crew coerced him into a skid.
“We’re going to take it to as many burnout comps as we can to give all the pit crew a go and to have some fun. We really miss racing so it gets us all back together again and have some more good times!” said Amanda.
With that Burnout Smile happening, the crew may have a task to get Bob back out of the seat again.
We wonder if Bob wont try to add some pop to the tank next time out?
