The 400 Thunder Aeroflow Drag Racing Series has confirmed that the Perth Motorplex will feature on the 2024 season calendar for the first time since 2018. The long-term agreement will see the championship series return to the West for the next three seasons in April of each year.
400 Thunder Aeroflow Drag Racing Series General Manager Jason Hedges said today, “The Perth Motorplex has become an icon of Australian drag racing over the last 20 years.
“It was vital for us to secure a race in Perth, as it now solidifies the 400 Thunder series as a true national championship. We can’t wait to head west with our series!”
Paul Trengove, General Manager of the Perth Motorplex echoed Hedges sentiments.
“The 400 Thunder Aeroflow Series visiting the Motorplex solidifies the venue’s reputation as a leader in Australian motorsport. The team at the ‘plex is looking forward to seeing racers that we haven’t seen on the west coast for a number of years, and I’m sure that that fans will be pumped to see them as well!”
Details will be confirmed over coming months, however the 2024 event will take place in April, and is will feature a number of 400 Thunder Aeroflow Drag Racing Series Championship categories.
