Hydraulink Jim Read Racing is pleased to announce that Snap-on has returned as a Supporting Partner for the team as it continues to chase the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship.
The leading manufacturer of hand tools, power tools, diagnostics, workshop equipment and tool storage solutions for professionals re-partnered with the team just in time for the recent 52nd Westernationals.
At that event at the Perth Motorplex, the new partnership got off to a great start with the team taking out the A-Final victory and moving to second in the title points standings with two rounds remaining in the 2022/2023 season.
Snap-on National Marketing and Product Manager, Adam Wright, said he was excited about what the future holds.
“What better way to kick off our new partnership than with victory,” Wright said.
“Snap-on is responsible for high quality tools for professionals. What better proving ground is there for our products than in the most intense, most incredible motorsport there is – Top Fuel drag racing.
“We have been watching the progress of Jim Read Racing and the new Top Fuel Championship with great interest. Now is the right time for us to make our return to the team and the sport. We can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.”
Hydraulink Jim Read Racing Crew Chief, Bruce Read, said he was thrilled to announce the new partnership.
“Snap-on and our team have enjoyed some wonderful times together in the past and we are so excited to welcome them back to not only the team but also the sport of Top Fuel drag racing,” Read said.
“We are so pleased to once again have Snap-on on board. We look forward to continuing to represent them as we look to chase down the title once again, in front of huge crowds both at the track and online.
“There is no doubt that the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship is proving to be a huge success, and in our opinion there is no better time for supporting partners to get involved in what is sure to only get better and better as this relatively new series continues to grow and grow.
“Thank you to Snap-on for their support. Here’s to a fantastic rest of our season ahead!”
