With the Wet Season abating the Hidden Valley drag racing season is underway for another year, and two rounds of the HVDRA Track Championship have been completed to date.

Entry numbers have been down a bit with racers likely saving machinery leading into what will be an epic Nitro Up North in a couple of weeks. Round two saw a bunch of racers forgo racing in Top Eliminator in favour of just testing for the big one.

Some of the high horsepower testing included young gun Aiden Abel who had one of his dad’s spare motors in his Arrow funny car, and although he didn’t get a full pull in he had some impressive short times.

While Matt Abel still looking for a good setup with the Top Doorslammer after rebuild.

Andrew Kuss had a explosive night with his FED.

Glenn Bull has gone to Supercharged Outlaws now but had gearbox issues.

Peter Coles went well in his Hemi Powered Torana, and Butch Morrison had some strong launches.

Dennis Bayliss made a return after his massive wheelstand a couple of seasons ago, now packing a 540ci big block in the altered.
