The Winternationals Warmup concluded on Sunday as a bunch of racers took to Willowbank Raceway for their last chance to test ahead of this week’s Gulf Western Oils Winternationals.

After running a 6.13 earlier in the day, Peter Gratz’s day ended with a bang when the tailshaft in his Plymouth Barracuda cried enough.

Sam Afchal in the Duster Pro Slammer dropped at 5.91 then a 5.81, Peter Lovering earned his first five second timeslip with a 5.98 in the Shoebox 55.

Brian Pursell was the only Pro Stocker to show his hand more than others with a 6.988.

And everyone will be chasing Luke Crowley in Pro Bike after his 7.08 in testing as he looks to seal the 400 Thunder championship.

John Cannuli returned with new kit for his Pro Alcohol Funny Car after his spectacular explosion late last year at East Coast Thunder.

Traction was on point with some sky high wheelstands.
