Day two of the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals was a beauty with clear skies and pristine track conditions. The Professional classes in the 400 Thunder Aeroflow Drag Racing Series were on track for the first time with two qualifying sessions for most.

Morice McMillin leads the way in Top Fuel Funny Cars only qualifying session from the day with a 4.89. 5 cars attempted passes, but Brandon Gosbell had a moment when the throttle stuck in the burnout ending his run, and Anthony Begley walked away from a huge explosion and fire.

The other professional classes received two rounds today, and in Pro Alcohol we saw Steve Reed just edge out Tim Clifton after their two sessions 5.441 to a 5.444 to claim the top spot.

Paul Cannuli romped to provisional pole with a 5.70 in Pro Slammer.

Tyronne Tremayne has control in Pro Stock with a 6.92.

Luke Crowley has a stranglehold on Pro Stock Bike qualifying with a 7.08.

Zoran Gajic rounds out the professional classes with a 5.89 to head the Pro Mod field.

All qualifying is run and done for the sportsman classes except for Super Comp, Performance Bike and Pro Radial who will have their final sessions tomorrow.
