It is with deep sadness that Lamattina Top Fuel Racing (LTFR) announces its withdrawal from the upcoming 2024 Winternationals, scheduled for June 6-9 at Willowbank Raceway. The decision follows the sudden passing of ‘Uncle Tony’, a beloved uncle and integral supporter of the team.
Phil Lamattina, team principal, expressed the profound impact of this loss on the family and team. “Uncle Tony was not only a cherished family member but also a cornerstone of our support system. His passing has left a significant void, and our immediate focus is on family and honouring his memory,” Phil stated.
LTFR will still participate in the upcoming event in Darwin at Hidden Valley Raceway, demonstrating their commitment to the sport and their supporters.
