Not only have the Aeroflow boys been preparing their Nitro Funny Cars ahead of the NDRC – National Drag Racing Championship 2024/2025 season, they also took the opportunity to test the King Kong Outlaw Nitro Funny Car with Graeme Frawley behind the wheel recently.

Frawley is no stranger to victory, boasting multiple Australian Championship titles in Modified, Supercharged Outlaws, and Competition.

As the co-crew chief for the Harts Paint Supplies Nitro Funny Car, his list of achievements is already impressive, but now he can add licensing in an Outlaw Nitro Funny Car to his resume.

“The quickest I had been before was in the 6.50s at 210mph (337km/h). But to hit 210mph at half track in King Kong was a real eye-opener! I knew it would accelerate harder, but I wasn’t prepared for just how much faster it felt. The vibrations and the noise of a nitro Hemi from inside the car are indescribable. It was exhilarating!” Frawley shared.

On his very first day of Nitro licensing, Frawley conquered two 5-second passes, clocking his best run of the day at an astonishing 5.68 seconds!

“I can’t believe I’m getting the chance to drive a car like this. I have to extend my sincerest thanks to Graeme and Wendy Cowin, Morice McMillin, Justin Walshe, and the entire Aeroflow/Rocket team for trusting me and giving me this incredible opportunity.”
