Rocket Industries has officially announced that Josh Leahy will pilot their Nitro Funny Car for the highly anticipated 2024/2025 NDRC season.
Leahy burst onto the scene with a thrilling debut in the XPro Nitro Funny Car at the 2024 Nitro Champs, continuing his impressive rookie campaign at the Winternationals and establishing himself as a rising star in the Nitro Funny Car category.
With the Spring Nationals at The Bend fast approaching, Leahy has completed familiarisation passes during the off season. “It’s an absolute rocket!” Leahy exclaimed. “This test session really showed what this car is capable of. It’s a proven race car, and the team and I are eager to take on The Bend. It’s a privilege to be driving the Rocket Industries Nitro Funny Car and I can’t thank GC and Wendy enough to be part of this team!”
