Zappia Racing is now ready to deliver the one-two punch on opponents at NDRC Top Doorslammer events with Brodie Zappia fully licensed for competition. Young Brodie was signed off with a 5.881 at 242mph in the MAX Plant Monaro an now will focus debuting at the Goldenstates next month.
Brodie Zappia – nephew of Australia’s most decorated Top Doorslammer racer John Zappia with 11 National Championships – has had quick rise to the elite sedan ranks after stepping out of Junior Dragsters a couple years ago, moving through Super Sedan and into Supercharged Outlaws with his Pro Charged Camaro, and now will join the ever growing crop of young guns in the professional ranks.
The Zap’s Rat Monaro Brodie will be steering is rich with history as well, the car was the first 5-second Top Doorslammer in Australia and the Monaro that took John Zappia to his first National Championship.
