CHAOS AT THE CREEK CANCELLED FOR 2025

It is with regret that due to circumstances outside of the PDRC’s control, the Chaos at the Creek event scheduled for March 21 & 22 will not proceed as part of the PDRC series.

The PDRC team has been working on this event concept for more than 6 months and has actively engaged with all stakeholders including Sydney Dragway, Sydney International Speedway, the NSW Sprintcar Association and the PDRC racer base.

Despite the enthusiasm from fans and racers alike, and an in-principal agreement from all parties to make the event a reality, the event is now little more than two months away and Sydney Dragway has not been able to put tickets on sale so “as to not interfere with their existing events”.

This alongside other issues surrounding communication have highlighted to us that Sydney Dragway does not share the same vision for the Chaos at the Creek, which in our assessment now makes the project commercially unviable.

In no way does this affect our commitment to the Pro Drag Racing Championship and our upcoming event at Dragway at the Bend, which is shaping up to be a fantastic racing event on February 8 & 9 alongside the Summit Racing Equipment Track Championship series.

The PDRC is actively pursuing other opportunities to secure an additional Round to ensure that the 2024-25 Championship remains at 5 rounds for Pro Alcohol, Pro Mod, Pro Stock and Pro Bike. We will be in communication with the racer base over the coming weeks as to the outcome.

We understand that this will be disappointing for the racer group (both Drag Racing and Speedway) and their fans, however we were left with little choice and needed to make this decision to allow time for racers and fans to adjust any travel plans they may have made.
