This collaboration marks a significant moment in Australian motorsport, supporting one of its most celebrated figures as he concludes a monumental career.

John Zappia, an 11-time Top Doorslammer champion and a dominant force in the sport for decades, has been a long-standing partner with both FUCHS Lubricants and a new and flourishing professional relationship with Summit Racing. This new agreement solidifies their commitment to Zappia’s legacy and success, providing him with the essential resources to compete at the highest level during his farewell tour.

Zappia’s final two seasons will see him competing in the Top Doorslammer class, vying for his 12th and 13th championships. He also will be driving his famous Zaps Rat in selective Pro Mod races, burnouts and presenting the car in show-n-shines at major Australian motorsport events.
