Rob Cassar and Ballistic Racing motorcycle drag racing team are thrilled to announce they have re-signed Powerplus Racing Fuels to their outfit for the rest of 2013 and continuing on through 2014.
“Powerplus have supported the team over the past two seasons and having them onboard for what is set to be our most exciting season ever is really fantastic,” said Cassar.
The team so far have had a productive season as they continue to develop their nitrous snorting bike.
“Whilst the Winters were rained out we came away with some excellent data and track time. We gained some ground by testing the week before and found the gremlins that have been haunting us for the last few years,” said Cassar.
“With solid runs during qualifying and gradual improvements each time we ran a 7.50 ET and suspect there is a lot left in it.”
Next round of the championship will see the Victorian based team head across to Adelaide and the return of sportsman championship racing at Adelaide.
“Our next competition meeting is the Spring Nationals which is a special meeting for me and one that I would love to win, having done so in Mod Bike in 2000. It will also be the last time we run Comp bike for this season,” stated Cassar.
This is not the last we will see of Ballistic Racing this year with the team preparing to step back into Top Bike for a home town return to Calder.
“With Calder Park coming back on line we are pumped and will be stepping up and seeing out the season in Top Bike,” announced Cassar.
“Calder is my home track and I would love to win in front of the home crowd. We have not competed in ANDRA drag racing at Calder since 2001 so we are excited and pleased to have our local sponsors on board.”
