IHRA and Hidden Valley Drag Strip have announced a sanctioning partnership foe the next 3 years.
IHRA posted the following release:

With Hidden Valley Drag Strip following the announcement up with this statement:
Hidden Valley Drag Strip is proud to announce a new multi-year sanctioning partnership with IHRA Australia, marking a major milestone for drag racing in the Northern Territory.
We are also excited to confirm that a round of the IHRA International Pro Mod 660 Ironman Classic Series will be held at Hidden Valley Dragway in 2026, making Darwin an integral part of this new national series.
We understand racers will have questions regarding licensing, classes, and how this transition works.
A dedicated information session will be held shortly for all Hidden Valley Drag Strip racers, where IHRA Australia representatives and track officials will outline:
• Licensing requirements
• Class structures
• Transition arrangements
• What changes (and what doesn’t) for local racers
Full details, dates, and times will be announced soon. We ask racers to hold questions until this session, where complete and accurate information will be provided.

Confusion surrounding the Nitro Up North event in 2026 which was slated to include the NDRC Aeroflow Sportsman Series and ANDRA Regional Championship series has been clarified by the National Drag Racing Championship that the event will remain as announced with ANDRA sanction.
