Six of the fastest blown sedans in the Australia will take to Sydney Dragway on Saturday January 24, as ANDRA makes it return to the premier NSW drag racing venue with the ANDRA Drag Racing Masters.
The one-day event will feature not only these incredible 3,500hp racing machines, but also plenty of other head turning cars and bikes across a range of brackets – including fellow features the Pro Mod Masters, Extreme Motorcycle Masters, and Pro Stock, as well as racing for the ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship.
More than $70,000 in cash and prizes will be pursued by the near 150-strong entry list, as will highly coveted Gold ANDRA Christmas Tree trophies.
In the Doorslammer ranks, Brodie Zappia, Peter Lovering, Geoff Gradden, Nasser Matta, Salim Matta, and Brody Davies will be facing off in what is set to be an intense battle for $25,000 prize purse – including $10k for the win.
20-year-old racing prodigy Brodie Zappia was signed late last year to drive the ACDelco Monaro and says this event is one “not to be missed.”

Zappia’s move to the legendary ACDelco team follows an impressive debut season in the Doorslammer ranks across 2024/2025 with the Zappia Racing of his uncle, 12-time champ John Zappia, which included a breakthrough victory.
“I’m really looking forward to the ANDRA Drag Racing Masters event at Sydney Dragway, marking the return of ANDRA drag racing to NSW,” said Zappia.
“For me, this event is the perfect opportunity to get some more seat time in the ACDelco Monaro prior to our (NDRC) race season starting.
“There is a combined $25,000 prize pool on the line for Top Doorslammer, so everyone will be out there putting in their best effort.
“Also, with Gold ANDRA Christmas trees on the line too, this event isn’t one to be missed!”
