Two new Super Sedans have broken cover in Perth and are set to make their debut this season.
Sam Gullotto will be driving the family’s rebuilt Camira. This used to be a big wheelstanding car, with its turbocharged Lexus four litre combination being most fondly remembered and used as the base for Moreno and Charlie Gullotto’s current Toyota Soarer BB/API. Moreno will be test driving the Camira before Sam steps into it.
And the next gorgeous black race car is Greg Carter’s Jerry Bickel-built Chev Cobalt. With a huge Schmidt engine underneath the bonnet this Super Sedan should be pushing very low sevens, if not sixes. Carter had the car out for the first time at the WASSMA club meeting this week where it was drooled over by many of the members.
