Rob Tucker Racing has announced they will lease motors from Elite Motorsports for the remainder of the team’s part-time season campaign. The decision aims to enhance rookie driver Shane Tucker’s position in the tightly contested NHRA Pro Stock category.
Richard Freeman and his team Elite Motorsports currently lead the NHRA Pro Stock championship with their driver Erica Enders-Stevens.
“The team at Elite Motorsports have had great success already in 2014 and are no strangers to running up the front,” said team owner Rob Tucker.
“Our plans are still to develop our engine program, however until our motors are at a level where we know they will compete for round wins, we will continue to have an Elite Performance motor under the hood!”
Tucker will return to the NHRA Mello Yello series in Bristol, Tennessee and will run four consecutive races through to Norwalk Ohio.
